Forest Therapy Guide
Casey is a certified Forest Therapy Guide through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy. This unique practice, also called Forest Bathing, is a simple but profound way of coming into deeper relationship with the earth, and provides participants with many scientifically-documented health benefits. "Therapy" sessions are actually slow walks (or sits) which typically take place outside and span 1-3 hours in length. As a horticulturist, interacting with land this way has been incredibly valuable for her approach to land stewardship as well as for her sanity!
Small-Business and Leadership Coach
After founding and running several successful, big-hearted, earth-centered small businesses, I love coaching other new entrepreneurs who want to do business in kinder, more regenerative ways than our cutthroat capitalist culture models.
About my business background:Fouder and former CEO of the Snake River Seed Cooperative, which works with over 50 farmers across the Intermountain West to grow a robust regional seedshed for the Intermountain West. Also, for 18 years, I was the owner-operator of Earthly Delights Farm, an urban farm in Boise, Idaho, which specialized in organic vegetable and seed production and offered on-farm internships and classes for the community. During that time, I also ran Earthly Delights Landscapes, which helped homeowners transform their yards into native plant, edible, and pollinator-friendly landscapes.
